VEFI is the oldest forfaiting association of the world.
Our goals are
- to improve the general recognition of the Swiss forfaiting market
- to share knowledge and experience among our members
- to introduce exporters, importers and financial institutions to the benefits of forfaiting

VEFI 31st Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on 5th May 2010.   Here the outcome; the current board members have been unanimously elected for another term as follows: Mr Sal. Chiappinelli will serve as Chairman, Mr J. Fischer as Deputy Chairman, Mr M. Diggelmann as Treasurer, Mr P. Dornauer, Mr Dieter von Boddien and Mr Mr Stefan Vögeli as VEFI Board Members. Mrs Dikmen of UBS Zurich and Mr Daniel Schär of Zürcher Kantonalbank Zurich have been re-confirmed as VEFI auditors. The Board would like to also express a very warm "thank you" to all members that directly or indirectly have given support to the Association of Forfaiters in Switzerland during 2009.
